Finally awake

Nari and Alex were having a nice wee chat as you do when all of a sudden Nari paused, and said "She's awake."

"Oh thank god" Alex said, it had been weeks and it had been a lot of ork to keep the kid from laying in their own filth and getting all fucked up with funk diseases, mot of which work he had tried to pass off onto nari because it seemed like she'd find it slightly less awkward, but he still had to keep all the medical equipment running and stuff. Said grl was hooked up to hospital grade machinery Alex had learned to use on the internet. He walked into the room and waved at her before going over to help get the stuff off "You were pretty beat up when we found you, I was starting to think you might not wake up at all"

Jade was in the midst of ripping all of the medical bullshit off of her when the door opened and she froze like a deer in headlights.

"We found you chained to a copy machine" Alex Explained to her

Jade remained silent, then slowly continued removing the medical crap when the stranger didn't spring on her. She kept her eyes locked on him, however. He must be who those other men sold her to, she decided. They wouldn't have just... found her.

"I also killed those guys who took you hostage and stole the copy machine it's in the other rooms, I needed it to copy a picture for some fliers" Alex added and wondered "So are you mute?"

"Good," she said after a moment, finding her voice a little funny after not using it in a  while.

"Do you remember the whole event and the quarintine?"Alex asked "And are you hungry or thirsty?"

"...yes " was her only response to all of that.

Alex popped out via teleportation, and popped back in with a watterbottle and some beef jerky

"How did you do that?" She asked, hugging her knees that she had pulled up to her chest

"You remember the event that gave a bunch of people super powers?" Alex asked her "I got super powers"

"You can teleport," She said as if it wasn't obvious enough. "What does that feel like?"

"It feels awesome" was his reply "I kinda started taking in metahumans with nowhere to go too" he added "Like a really really really poor man's discount Charles Xavior who steals things and kills people some times... but like bad people of course."

"Bitch I'm Charles Xavier!" Nari shouted from the other room.

"Nari,I started this I get to be Proffessor X" Alex called back

"I'm the young pretty boy one," She replied. "You're bald old man on wheels."

"The one who isn't a mess" Alex clarified "Anyway you're safe here kid"

"Works perfectly for me then, eh?" Nari replied.

"Nari is a telepath and telekinetic" He explained to the kid "Also a mess"

"What makes her a mess?" Jade replied.

"Former Pot head, now she has telepathic... episodes" Alex said

"What do you mean?"
