 "Nah , feel like that guy's an asshole , your T.V though fam" Taylor says as he starts doing some push-ups.

"I guess we should who knows what he could be doing"

Alex slid into a chair and nodded turning on the TV, he flipped through channels until he saw a picture of the unedeniably handsome CEO surounded by armed guards and amored vehicles as he stood at a podium "Doesn't hurt to know what is going on right?" Alex asked the others

She nods and sits on the floor

"My fellow americans" Stanton began as if he were the president of the united states butting arm his most determined and solem face "My fellow New Borians" he stated to specify whom he was addressing "The passed week and a half has been a trying time for us all, many of you are experiencing new abilities, many of you cannot control them yet, many of you who have not gained these powers are simply afraid, armed thugs are terrorizing the streets and it seems are government has given up on us, and left us to die... But I want to assure each and every one of you that; while the authorities have abandoned us all I will take command before I allow another citizen to be hurt. I swear to you while I still draw breath this Island will not fall into chaos.  My security teams are ready to begin restoring order today and i invite each and every one of you, powers or no to come down here and sign up to fight with us; for the sake of your friends, your neighbors, and your families. To all of you I would like to say than you for your time, and good luck..." It wa a stiring speech delivered with charisma and perfection by New Boria's riches bussiness man apparently gone vigilante peace keeper

"He wants a army of people with power"

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind some good old people with guns while he's at it" Alex commented biting into a poptart "Can't be worse then the gangs though can he?"

"He's a businessman after all ,he's smart enough to know he needs people's support , I doubt it'll be too bad " Taylor comments.

"...Want to shoot some guns out the window in celebration" Alex asked after a moment

She shrugs "Why would we do that" she breaks off a piece of his poptart

"Because you're in America now and i've always wanted to fire and automatic weapon." Alex explained

The first thing Nari heard were voices. So many voices. They were soft, mingling with each other, nothing more than background noise. She could not differentiate between the words. It was like hearing it all beneath a swimming pool. They grew steadily louder, along with a pulse in her head. Her mouth was thick and dry, as it usually was after a high, but never before had her head pounded as badly. Also the sounds; did she wonder into town and collapse in a stoned stupor? She pried her eyes open, and immediately squeezed them shut again as the bright lights near blinded her. She groaned.

"Hey there sleepy head..." Alex said poking her with a poptart as she stired

"You're speaking so loud.." she mumbled, rubbing her head as she once again tried to open her eyes again.

"Shut up its not like I'm on anything dangerous," She grumbled as she sat up slowly.

"Eat up" Alex said poking her in the face with the poptarts, he's wondering his chances of getting the german chick in bed

"I...what?" Taylor replies.

"She's way out of your league," she replied, grabbing the pop tart to munch on. "Do you have drinks?"

"Oh cool you read minds" Alex caught on quickly and handed her a water bottle

"What?" She asked, not having cottoned on yet. She drank all of the water because her throat was like sandpaper.

 "You read minds basically" Taylor reitorates.

"Oh shit that super power thig was real?" She asked in surprise. "I thought I was just super high."
