SWTOR Wounded Galaxy RP Background

The galaxy is in pieces , all semblances of order or piece lost after the disaster that was the Jedi Civil War. The Jedi Order , once the thousands strong hallowed protectors of the peace , are gone...The few Jedi still alive no longer claiming the title, hiding in the alleys and the caves from the galaxies Sith oppresors. The Sith Duumvirate , the twin abominations known as Darth Scion and Darth Nihilus stare down on the galaxy like vultures over a wounded carcass. The Republic , too wounded by the Mandalorian war to aid their Jedi allies seek desperately to rebuild. The galaxy sits on the edge of a precipice ,and none can predict where it will fall. Light or Darkness? Jedi or Sith? Or perhaps neither , perhaps all will be wiped away and begin a new , in the end the fate of the galaxy lies in the hands of those bold enough to grab it....Are you?

Set during the first Jedi purge during the era of the old republic , with a galaxy in chaos Wounded Galaxy is to give you the chance to shape the galaxy as you will. Will you defeat the sith and reclaim the galaxy for the republic and the Jedi? Or will you rise above your sith peers , crush the old republic and create a new galaxy? Or maybe you will watch as it all burns , and grow fat and content off of the scraps...it is your choice.

Background: A former sith inquisitor feared in the dark circles of the underworld for her ruthless efficiency and sadism. She was the unlucky fate of many a jedi during the civil war , tortured to death in some dank chamber on Korriban. Yet she always had one rule...no children. When she was set to torture a jedi padawan for the location of her maste r, she found she simply couldn't , and after freeing the child she fled. Now on the run from the sith she once served , she finds her heart beginning to doubt it's surety in the dark side.

Background: Like most jedi Duros has been with the order about as long as he can remember. From a young age most of his fellow students treated him like a leper; for the masters saw in him whenever he would spar or drill a calculating aggression; an instinct that most considered to be of the dark side, and allowed him to dispatch his fellow apprentices with ease. Over time he grew to  fear his own instincts, and would draw his lightsaber only if it was necessary; yet by that time most masters who would take  him had already heard he was touched by the darkside, and with the jedi civil war where so many padawan's had defected on their minds, none would take him for fear he would fall to the lure of the sith. In time however one Jedi would take him as a padawan, a Jedi shadow of all things, whom he would serve and flourish under as a Jedi and warrior. Duros would never overcome the fear of himself; when he was knighted instead of following in his master's footsteps, he became a jedi Librarian in the archives of the order, it was after the council themselves had vanished that he finally abandoned the corruscant archives, and went into hiding on Nar Shadda. To Duros the Jedi seemed to have shattered, and he as a lone librarian couldn't put them back together
