Kentauros , Galaxy of Adventure

The Kentauros galaxy , a place that has filled with life long before humans scooted their way into it , fleeing a great disaster that has since been lost from all memory , the only important scrap of history remembered their home planets name , Earth. And when they arrived , terrified refugees in a huge and dangerous galaxy they were greeted not with the cold empty expanse they had expected , but something even scarier , fellow life. Hundreds of thousands of other intelligent species all living in the same galaxy , all with their own millennia long feuds , wars ,alliances , and humanity was the new kid on the block. At first it was bad , some races wanted to manipulate the younger weaker species , pull on their naivety and wonder , others wished to befriend them , if only to attempt to enslave them later , some even wished to hunt the seemingly frail and stupid humans for sport. Few wished them any good will , so they , as humanity so often has had to to do , picked themselves up by their bootstraps . They may not have been as large , or as long-lived , or as quick to breed, they didn't even have the latent psychic talent of many other races , Earth having been only sparsely washed over by the cosmic radiation needed to gain the mutation. (The many wizards and magicians in earth's history simply having been those lucky few with the trait for it) However humanity was adaptive , silver tongued , and much smarter than they seemed. Within a few thousand years humanity came from being second class citizens or slaves or even food across the galaxy , to one of the most wide spread and powerful. That was the story of humans in Kentauros , now we must speak of the present.

Kentauros is a massive place , with many different species , and even more factions , no one empire or federation spanning over it's wide expanses, no many smaller factions , syndicates , corporations , and local kingdoms rule over it , all bound by the Great Code , a law enforced by the galaxies police force the Al'rashka'ateyarla , in human that's Lawblades . These are the only binding rule over the otherwise free galaxy, they give equal rights and protections to all sentient life , no distinctions by gender , class , race , or creed . This means there's nothing stopping you from forging your own adventures across this massive playground that most call The Hub. The Hub is seperated mostly by rings ,designating the siginificant ethnic territories throughout the galaxy. In the inner ring are the Elder Races , The Unashi , Eldroza, and Ucera (The Unashi were humanities first supporters as they used to be our neighbors from Mars before fleeing around 200 B.C) these races are the richest and most powerful per individual , many of them forming the workforce of the  great corporations of Ulearis , Guterros , and Alarias , each race are powerful Voidmasters , given to the manipulation of the psychic energies that permeate through the galaxy in waves.In the middle ring are the young folk , including the aquatic shapeshifting M'hidiyossi , the collectivist Hivemind , and us , humans (also a few others I don't care to mention) . These races are seen as the up and comers of the galaxy , each having high populations and generally living on for the most part resource rich safe home worlds and surrounding colonies. On the outer rims and the sub ring sector known as the crescent live the rest  , a vibrant smattering of many races who live in the most lawless far flung corners of the galaxy , many under the thrall of the K'shaariyossi syndicate who enslave the populations of whole worlds with their incredibly addictive drug Deathshead, who control the feared Deathlord assassins. Many advanced technologies permeate this galaxy as well , whether faster than light speed travel , plasma based weaponry , advanced ion power , or near sentient A.I . The corporations putting out these technologies so powerful they can field whole private 'Efficiency Test Agent forces' to wage private wars against their corporate enemies in barely legal 'Equipment Efficiency Contests'...so it's a pretty crazy place really...have fun!

It's Dangerous to go alone take this!: (some basic items a char may need)

Basic Ulearis Rl-64 Plasma defense system: Your basic energy shield , near everyone in the galaxy has at least one of these , allowing the average citizen to survive knife cuts , blunt force , and really pathetic small arms fire , however your char may have better equipment .

Guterros Holotech mobile holographic computer system: Basically the space equivalent of a smart phone , I don't think I have to explain this.

A basic manner of self defense: The galaxy is a massive dangerous place , you never know what may happen , it's in your chars best interest to have some manner of weapon , whether it be a basic Stingray stun laser , Ziraxis Arm blaster , or perhaps even a Ulearis Forges Heavy Arbalest Rapid Fire Plasma Cannon. A simple vibroknife for all your melee needs is suggested as well ,as even a basic vibroknife can cut through a weak enough plasma shield (by vibrating at a frequency that will cause the plasma to dissipate , allowing for the blade to cut through).

Backstory: Born on the human jungle colony of Alros he was raised from birth to be a survivor , the world while beautiful , fertile , and rich in resources , had many deadly predators , vicious diseases , and quite a few natural disaster areas. As such every Alrosian was taught martial arts and survival skills at a young age . Endar was a prodigy in such fields ,a natural fighter , making it all the way up to the Alrosian Sun Guard , the elite personal bodyguard of Alros' Warchief . After serving his time in the Sun Guard and fighting in many epic battles Endar found himself out in the frontier of space with no job , so he signed on with the weapons firm Ex:Machina , and fought for a few years in their many 'Product effectiveness trials" gaining a reputation across the sector as a ferocious warrior and master soldier. Yet eventually he grew tired of such things to and left the service . Wishing to see the galaxy and be his own boss he works as a free lance smuggler and bodyguard and captains his pride and joy the Javelin class Starjet Babylonia.

Backstory: Raised a slave of the syndicate from birth he was forcibly addicted to the syndicates enslaving drug Deathshead at a young age. Being a deathlord he is the best of the best when it comes to assassins , trained brutally as a youngling to install skill, ruthlessness ,and absolute loyalty to the syndicate in him. Soon after finishing his training he was assigned to the human hive world of Cetesifon to watch over the sector Kitchen and put down any insurrections. Lately he's begun to have doubts in his criminal masters , and begins to wish to break free and live his own life.

Backstory: About 20 years ago a battlemage by the name Of Searus, a super soldier trained and genetically modified from childhood went rogue from the *Classified* corporation. Searus had become dissilusioned when the groups that ruled the galaxy, he saw their corruption, and the weakness of the men who lead them, men who lived in hedonistic luxury and cared only for their bottom line and prestige. Searus did the only sensible thing, he went rogue and over the following years formed a gang of dangerous anarchists, mercenaries, and pirates to wage a brutal war on the "Civilized" colonies, a bloody campaign that spared no one regardless of guilt or innocence. The *Classified* corporation and many others tried various tactics, they sent special forces teams to eliminate Searus, they sent fleets to destroy his army, all have failed. So they commisioned a project, deciding that the only thing with a shot of killing searus... was another searus grown from scratch, or rather... several. subjects 2, 3, 5-12, and 14 all failed within the first 2 years subject 1, 4, 13, and 15 were the only survivors, each one was outfitted with the finest enhancements in the galaxy and trained as elite soldiers from the day they could walk, however Searus learned of the project and sent a fleet to wipe out the facility 13, and 15 were being trained on, 13 fought his way out and escaped in a prototype ship, 15 did not.

Equipment: Tri layer Plasma sheilds, Plasma carbines, scatter blaster, energy pistols, a rotating plasma canon, liquid plasma thrower, vibroknives.
Ship: The Mark 10 "Outrider" Recon Ship, equiped for long term recon misions with a small team of elite soldiers, and scouts. It has some serious weapons on it, definitely able to take out most civilian ship, but way out of its league agains any large military ships or fighter squadrons, and as such it is designed to go undetected.

Appearance: She is tall, with sharp teeth, and deep grey skin, with a splattering of darker and lighter freckles all over her body, but concentrating more on her cheeks and nose. Her almond eyes are like deep midnight pools, the colour of the depths of space, and are framed by lighter grey lashes. Blue tattoos in apparently random yet extremely intricate patterns flow down the left side of her body, starting from the far corner of her eye right down to her foot. They appear to ebb and flow, like water. Her hair is cut short (basically similar to Ruby Rose’), and the same shimmering blue as her tattoos. She also has extendable talons and an increase in muscle tissue, and possesses a tail, courtesy of genetic enhancements, which is the same colour as her skin, the end tipped with an extremely strong yet light aluminium-steel alloy shaped as an arrow head. The base of the tail is also decorated with golden jewellery that winds around it.
Occupation: Spy for the Ulearis Corporation
Backstory: Delaynie and her family were some of the few Unashi who lived above ground in the rich forests of her homeworld, Hellebore, and due to this has gone through several genetic enhancements in order to easier survive in the harsh forests. But she wanted more than that. She wanted to live, and travel the galaxy. The easiest way to do that was to join the Ulearis Corporation, which she did and showed potential as a spy. She quickly climbed the ranks, and is searching for the recipe for that drug thingy.

Equipment: A genetically enhanced raven called Merl, whose screech can shatter ear drums of any living creature (with external ears) nearby. The bird has a third “eye” on its forehead, that is essentially a beady black camera lens linking its vision to Delaynie’s, and can imitate any sound it hears, to then repeat on command (or just when he feels like it). Ship called Beatrice, a headset that covers her ears and eyes, that allows her to adjust her hearing and vision up to 50x optical zoom, as well as allow her to see infrared radiation. The headset can also link her up to the internet and allows her to hack into like... lots of stuff. Also like guns and stuff, plasma shield and several vibroknives. She has other nifty stuff too.

Backstory: Roulant comes from a hive world and an incredibly wealthy family and uses his amazing wealth to try and get more wealth not always investing in the most legal of enterprises, though that changed recently when he decided to start investing into the K'shaariyossi for a few years though nothing of note happened for that time it is what happened when he stopped...He manage to get close enough to a cook and manage to 'bribe' him to give him the Deathshead formula though he didn't let any loose ends stay...He is currently trying to find a buyer for the formula while running form the K'shaariyossi syndicate for at least murder of a cook though he is unsure if they know he has the formula
