No, no it was not...especially not in Aza's case. Uilieam simply chuckles "Well that's bonnie if ye appreciate the attention lad , just a suggestion" He replies.

"Father!" Ailig cried out while running towards Uilieam to hug him "I missed thou!"

"And I thee little lad , have ye grown whilst thy father was away? And it's only been a few days!" He replies with a laugh as he pats his son on the head.

"One day I will join thee on the battlefield" Ailig say hopeful

"Aye if ye grow big and strong" He replies with a grin.

"Not for a good few years" His mother interjected fairly quickly

"But Mother I want to help protect the home" Ailig pleads

(lu we must talk when you get on)

"Yer too young lad , listen to yer mum" Uilieam replies with a grin as he enters the main hall of the keep.

"Your son's a magic user" Aza observed from beside the king cassually

"Hmmn?" He replies thinking he's heard incorrectly.

"oh that's right, he accidentaly set the dog on fire with magic while you were gone" Uilieam's wife chimed in, she kept her voice low, they did not need gossip about this


Aza seemed surprised they did not yet know, it's ussually obviousl from an early age

"Is the dog still alive?!" He replies.

"The dog is fine dear, he just has a few bald spot and a bruise or two" the bruises he had gotten from her frantically beatine out the fire with her dress to save the adorable beast's life

Uilieam nods though he still whistles for his old hound . "A relief and a blessing to be sure , on both counts , aye the dog's survival and your endowment" He states ruffling his son's hair.

"Thank thee father" Ailig says though doesn't so far really think of the magic as a blessing

Uilieam's hound comes in a hastily manner wanting to see its master

Uilieam nods and goes over to pet the dog "You're safe now Ogun , the little gremlin won't set ye afire again"

Ogun barks happily to that

Ailig tries to change the subject "So who is the lass with thou?"

"That is no lass little tyke , that be the man that pulled your father's rear from the pan" He replies with a grin as he gestures to the mage.

Aza looked at the boy "I am Aza, mage of Avalon, a pleasure to meet you young lord"

Ailig tries his best to hide his embarresment "I am Ailig"

Uilieam can't help but chuckle at his son's embarrassment.
