Bridarth academy

So Cthulu is really missing an old rp site I used to have , i had to close because i didn't have enough people, i figured we could make a topic for it on this site like the vampire rp topic, what do ya'll think, here's the plot basics. It's set in a magic academy in the world described bellow


Magic is a powerful art that wizards have been harnessing for thousands of years for a long time it allowed them to do virtually whatever they wanted and not worry about non wizards protests or concerns, from the non wizards. That all came to an end with the invention of gunpowder. There was a great war but eventually a treaty was written. Wizards got the eastern ,quarter of jerda the only significant sized land mass in the world, as well as the eastern coastal islands. Non wizards being much more numerous got the rest of the planet.

Can there be new enemies, like shadow folk and kitsunes?

why do kitsune need to be enemies? oh and there is also a wizard bear

nearly any creature you can think of would be allowed, and they can all be wizards. here's some more info on the academy


Bridarth academy of sorcery, and the arcane arts is a boarding school that young magically inclined students age 13 to 18 May attend to study the many arts of magic.
Studies and advancement of knowledge is pursued by each student through independent study. Professor are assigned groups of students to whom they serve as monitors (For younger students mostly), test their progress once every so often, and tutor if they need help with a particular subject.
The subjects are


Summoning- calling forth spirits an creatures to do the mage's bidding

Elementalism- Calling forth elements like fire bolts and ice shards

Voodoo- involves curses raising the dead,, and some summoning

Potion making

Illusion magic

Transmutation

Enchanting- involves wand, staff, and enchanted item creation


The school itself is based in the black castle a building hundreds of years old, it was originally built and resided in by the dark wizard Malus who came close to conquering all humanity, but was stopped by overwhelming numbers, and a curious invention by the non mages gun powder. After Malus's execution his massive castle, and extensive library were put to good use by less evil wizards... Teaching young witches and wizards how to use their powers, and not start a war with mortals

Even Cthulhu? By all means I can do this as I do have a clear idea what I want from my character but not sure of others.

As in a plot and all that stuff, something unusual usually happens to kick things off. Unless you want us to go in a school trip and get lost in there.

Sounds good, no hurry or anything so I will be waiting. This evening though (or night for me or something) I am gonna have a random stream as my sister requested it, we will be playing an old childhood game. I can post a link to it once we set up but it won't happen in many hours but just so you know I can't write during it.
