Rook looked embarrassed and said like a kid whining to their older sibling "Rin quit it i'm doing a thing"

"Adorable," She said, leaning her elbow on his shoulder.

"Shoo" The embarrased Rook said waving her away

Franky in the mean time, since lives are on the line , begins to command the shots himself .

rook is clad of this and joined in the fighting with his powerful spells

Rin "accidentally" stomps on his toe, before joining with the shooting.

And then everyone's ears are metaphorically raped by the noise of the guns firing .

Rook fires lightning bolts all the times he ain't even phased

Hamid just laughs at that "You crazy bastard you , dammit you didn't even flinch" He exclaims as he pats his knee .

"It becomes quite soothing After you've heard her laugh" Rook motioned  to rin with a smirk

"Oh, so that's how it is, is it? Rin said, both offended and amused.

"yep" Rook sad with a smirk as he threw fireballs at the enemy

Hamid just laughs adjusts the cannons and fires once again into a clump of summoners who were stupid enough not to hunt for cover. With their death several of the higher level demons simply vanish in flashes of red light. This doesn't seem to discourage the other demons in the slightest , for they have started climbing up the walls with vigor , their sharp claws allowing them to swarm up the stone of the walls with ease.

Rook knowing demons were very vulnerable to cold thought fast and formed a glyph which unleashed a wide and powerful spray of snow and cold air onto the demons that were trying to scale the wall.

The demons are frozen solid and fall of the wall , shattering as they hit the ground . Then a massive ball of fire hits the ramparts obliterating a chunk of the wall and throwing the crew away "No , the cannons!" Hamid exclaims.

Rook growled and got up off the ground to see who had been firing at them, his magic was low but he could roast a few more folks if he needed to.

Another massive fire ball comes flying overhead aimed directly at the crew.

Rin pat him on the shoulder. "Nice one."

Hamid just chuckles "Why are you patting him? He's unconscious" He questions as he adjusts one of the anti-air guns to target the source of the fireball , a massive demonic dragon.

"I am not unconscious I merely not able to stand at the moment...." Rook said

"Yeah, leave the poor man alone," Rin joked, as she continued shooting things.

Hamid just shakes his head and pulls his cannons out of the rubble , luckily they survived the bombardment.

Franky gets up , his ears ringing from the earlier explosion "St.Dinaue preserve us , I'm alive?" He wonders aloud with a laugh as he picks himself up slowly and looks over the others "Are you all fine?"
