AS the cry grows in volume Alexandros quickly draws his kopis from it's scabbard.

Marius in turn drew his spatha, fortunately he was wearing his armor

A shadow passes over the boat quickly , then another , then another.

"I would suggest someone wake the crew" Marius said

Arqa nods "Hey painter lady , get on that" He says as he grabs up his staff and prepares ,

"Excuse me, I am not your servant," She said with such disgust.

"I'll do it" The antiquiter quickly said and ran to go do that yelling "Wake up we got trouble on deck!"

"Yes but you're useless in combat " He replies bluntly as a harpy comes screaming out of the darkness flying straight for Marius , then another going for the distracted artificer.

(the artificer who is bellow deck?)

(I thought he'd be like..be on the steps down there or something)

(he never came above deck though)

(You know what , it doesn't matter)

Arqamani kills the one going towards the lower deck with a blast of fire.

Marrius blasted his with a jet of flame from a glyph as well, it seemed the thing to do on a fier

Arqa just raises a brow "Didn't take you for a mage " he remarks as he shoots a bolt of energy at a passing harpy.

"Battle mage" He clarified firing another jet of flame

"I've never met one but I didn't know battle mages used glyphs " He replies .

"I took some optional courses on it in officer school" He replied

And then a harpy slams into Marius , nearly sending him over board .

Marius caught its leg and hacked off one of its wing's with a Spatha

The harpy screams and scratches at Marius' face , scarring the area around his right eye badly, only to be taken out by a conjured dagger from Arqamani.

"Where the bloody hell is the crew?" Marius growled plunging his blade into another attacking harpy as he got to his feet

They seem to have all been brutally murdered by the vicious harpies.
