Important Nations:

The Rhanic Empire: The greatest empire Western Ergmir has ever known , the near undisputed masters of the Western Seas . They rule from a great city on a small peninsula called Rhania . Their conquests stretch from Albion to Tilea and their legions , ever marching are strong. An ambitious and expansionist state their eyes now turn to their only rivals , the island nation of Atlantis. And with their formidable battle mages and we'll trained legions they may soon have all of Ergmir under their thrall.

Hellias : A land of philosophers , and Demi gods , of marble pillars and golden shrines , they are a small set of islands off the southern coast of Ergmir and recently united under the name of Hellas . Their rule spreads from South Eastern Ergmir to the coasts of the near east. They are master sea farers and masters of Stygian Fire , a dangerous substance that when exposed to open air explodes into flame. Their main Rivals are the Kharezmids.

Kharezmids: The domain of the King of Kings Daryus II , the great empire of the sand stretches from the Near east to the edge of greater Tibeta. They are a cosmopolitan state , accepting all religions and creeds as long as their subjects pay tribute. They are master enchanters and forgers of great automatons like their famed Immortals. They're ancient rivalry with Hellias is millennia old  , having begun in a war so ancient neither side even remembers it . They seek to bring more and more lands into their fold , their first target being Kemet.

Kemet: The Land of The River , by far the oldest nation that holds sway on the Monterrigionian Sea . The Gift of the Stygis has seen numerous empires rise and fall before and their dynasties of God Kings stretch back to the dawn of civilization itself. However with every passing year they begin to weaken , sandwiched between their would be Kharezmid conquerors , and their ancient Keshite rivals to the South. However their great works of architecture captivate the world , and their magic is some of the deadliest ever conceived and will pay the ground work for future Ergmirian glyphs.

Atlantis: An island nation off the coast of Okono , it is inhabited by a mix of Hellian settlers and it's indigenous Okonan inhabitants. The two rich cultures have mixed to form a rich trading state which rivals Rhania in terms of power in the western Monterrigionian Sea. While Rhania has stronger ground troops the navy of Atlantis is to be reckoned with and their 'Grand Magic's is to be reckoned with.

Kesha : The southern-most of the great empires , they are Kemet's eternal rival and yet it's closest cultural relative . Their kingdom whilst normally content to do nothing more than trade and creative great temples is fiercely independent as numerous empires have found out. They specialize in Spirit Magic , allowing them to call upon the spirits of their ancestors to torment their foes , and the great desert that separates them from Kemet serves as a natural barrier. Their armies are mighty as well , with their archers being the finest in the ancient world , and their warriors levies from the south being fierce melee combatants . In the numerous times Egypt has been taken by foreign powers Kesha will often call upon it's armies to restore Kemetian culture to the region.
