"HI I'm Chris, I'm Devi's friend, who are you?" He asks as he hops onto his bike stuffing his phone into his helmet so he can talk on the go.

Crow nodded at he, he understood, but warned. It made sense that some authorities would be looking for her, and the minute a trained eye examined her, her vampirism would become  clear "If the police, or hunters are looking for you, be careful, your friend's house will be like the second, and hunters don't need warrants." He then took the phone to his ear "I'm crow, Your friend is fine, she's a little rattled, but physically she's unharmed first thing you want to so to get here is head to the highway leading out of town. Then you want to head towards the second mountain you pass on the left"

"You realize how many highways there are leading out of Chicago right? there are like three of the damn things, be a bit more specific, North Side, West Side, South Side?" He replies as he takes off down the street.

"I suppose i don't entirely, i was dead til a couple weeks ago... I can tell you it's east of the city, and to the left of the highway, so the highway headed south i think. the mountain Just to the right of the tallest mountain, near the top, on the right slope facing it from the west if that helps." The ghoul tried to resprase his directions

Chris grumbles something about vague directions and why couldn't Devi crash at the place of a non-dead person but replies with "Okay" And speeds off towards the south of the city.

Devi just sort of stood there rather awkwardly, eyes to her feet, while wiping away the blasted tears. Goddamnit, stop crying.

Crow having given the best directions he can, simply returns Devi's phone to her, and resumed his writing, comforting people wasn't his strong suit, these days he wasn't around people often anyway, it seemed the dead were his only company. "would you like some tea?" He asked devi, as he finished up the page

The ghoulish Crow looked at Devi , raising the area where and eyebrow may have once been, but now had yellow pustuels, his appearance was rather hideous of course, as he had been ghoulified. "I thought you could tell that just by looking. Tea or no tea?" he asked as he stood up intent on making tea, it sounded rather good right now.

"I haven't really been... looking," She admitted. She had been too busy as of late to actually pay attention to minor details, such as this dude being a zombie. "Why did you help me ?" She asked, as it had been on her mind for a while.

"i sensed a disturbance, believe it was a flare of black magic  when the book was used." The  ghoul said as he began preparing tea on a stove in his study, he used a simple spell to heat the water "So I went to investigate, and I helped because, I'm not in the habit of watching people get torn apart."

(Sorry)

She nodded, and followed him. "Do you not have a kettle?" She asked, frowning at the stove.

Electric kettles? Or perhaps he doesn't use electricity this far from everything. So she didn't reply, just watched him make the tea with a blank expression.

The ghoul poured himself some tea, as Dev wandered through the lair it became increasingly clear she was in a crypt, she  also passed by the blood fountain he had mentioned , in the center of which was a statue of a necromancer holding a severed head from which the blood flowed

Devi spared a glance at the fountain, before she continued on past it and continued dandering about. She didn't feel like eating anything.

Chris rolls up to the road adjacent to the mountain , and hops off his bike, quickly locking it and sprinting over towards Crow "Where's Devi?!"

Devi was wondering aimlessly, not paying attention to any details as she passed. The sound of footsteps reached her ears. They sounded vaguely familiar, and so she turned back to find the source of the steps. "Chris?"
