Gaining Power

It has been a week since Matthew had pummeled Kai's face in with a sledgehammer and he had completely healed from it, Kai had infiltrated a huge building filled with humans. On its attic hiding he had made a ritual circle to suck all of their souls to him to gain more power, he was so pissed at Matthew that he wanted complete revenge on him.

(Could Lu perhaps interfere?)

Meanwhile Lu is inside taking a dump.

Kai was activating the magic, the air turned a bit eerie in the building.

Lu finishes his dump and does all the hygenic stuff before dashing out the bathroom to investigate.

The humans in the building were too busy to notice what was going on, the air grew stronger as time passed.

Lu frowns ,he can feel it in the air, a demonic presence, he has to get there fast before all these people die! Quickly he sprints off tracking down this energy with his demonic senses until he reaches a ladder leading to the attic.

Kai was up there standing in the middle of a ritual circle and chanting something in demonic language, he was going to pull the souls to him.

Lu frowns and rushes the demon slamming a foot into the demon's gut and knocking him out of the ritual circle and through a wall.

Kai grunts as at the sudden kick to his gut and then being flew through a wall, the ritual ended as it was disturbed and Kai was in the next room standing up.

Lu walks up to the whole in the wall and glares down at Kai "Do I know you?" He asks as he summons the Sword of Sin and prepares for the ensuing fight.

Kai stood up and spoke. "Oh I recognize that voice... You are that half-breed that crashed the party in the theater... What do you think you are doing here!? I will kill you for interrupting my ritual!" Kai said and sped at Cthulhu to punch him in the chin.

"Question,why do all you full demon types talk like it's still the bloody middle ages?" Lu replies as he smoothly dodges the punch and elbows the overextended demon in his open back.

Kai quickly dodges and does a roundhouse kick.

Lu catches this and throws Kai back out through the hole.

Kai gets thrown, he stood up quickly in the other room and spoke. "Why don't you accept death? It can be quite comforting for you half-breed..." Kai said as he was breathing heavily.

"Ooh you're sounding a little flustered boyo, what am I too much for you? You not gonna last much longer? Don't worry I can slow down a bit for you" He teases gazing over the demon in a predatory fashion, his mouth in a small hungry smile.

(He's not actually coming on to the guy he's just teasing ,to distract him from the fight)

Kai chuckled and spoke. "Oh I am just getting started..." He ran at him and did several punches and kicks in succession.

"Oh there we go up and at em that's what I like to here!" He replies laughing as he leaps over the demon and lands behind him completely evading the barrage .

Kai does a spin kick as he did that, followed by a punch.

"C'mon now give me a bit of variety here mate, can't have a proper toss up without a few risks taken" He grins as he ducks the spin kick and blocks the punch before slashing upwards at Kai's torso.

Kai does a slight movement of his body to dodge that blow, he tires to strike Cthulhu with both of his fists.

Cthulhu takes the hit and goes tumbling towards a wall , however he manages to regain his balance and stop himself "Alrighty then you have a bit of fight in you, good"

Kai rushes at him and tries to grab his skull.
