The arcane lodge

The Arcane lodge of chicago was a fairly large two story building, big enough to house all twenty members at once it was situated in a remote forest location in the woods The rustic building was obscured by magical fog to ward off non members, and via magic the building had electricity, running water, and even wifi. In addition to its library, and extensive magical research facilities, it kept a stocked kitchen, and living quarters. Finn was in The library reading a book on summoning.

Kanda made his way to the Arcane lodge, whistling a merry tune as he walked towards it. Finn could then hear a door open somewhere in the building as Kanda stepped inside. He stopped whistling as Finn heard footsteps approaching the library.

Finn glanced up from his book briefly to see who it was

Kanda looked up at him an dipped his head to Finn in greeting before he opened up a book about elemental magic and started reading it.

"I don't think i've seen you around" Finn said closing his book

Kanda lifted his gaze away from the book. "I'm fairly new to the fellowship, but I do happen to be a full member. The name's Kanda, pleasure to meet you." he said, reaching out with his hand.

Finn shook the hand without hesitation "Finn McCoy Spirit mage."

Kanda gave his hand a shake before letting go. "I guess you could say I'm a Water mage." he said, scratching the back of his head awkwardly.

"So what do you do for the lodge?" Finn asked curiously

Kanda lifted a brow. "I sort help with the water pipes and stuff. If a water pipe breaks I can hold the water in mid air instead of it getting everything wet until its fixed." he said. "I'd gladly do a demonstration if you can find me a glass of water." he suggested.

Finn chuckled and conjured a small orb of water tossing it to him

Kanda quickly pulled out his wand and the orb of water hovered above his head. "Nice try." he said.

"You're a wand user?" Finn asked curiously

Kanda nodded. "Yes, is that so hard to believe?" he asked him. He made the water into the shape of a heart.

"A little, most mages prefer staffs" he said motioning to his well carved rowan staff "Anyway i'm a researcher here"

Kanda chuckled. "I prefer wands simply because they're easier to hide in your clothing and they're lighter so they're easier to carry." he explained, he then went back to reading, the water still hovering over his head as he did so.

Kendar shrugged at this philosophy  "They have their merrits, my mom used one for assassinations"

Kanda snickered at his words. "I'm already afraid to meet her in person." he stated, the water heart changing into a hoop like an angel's halo.

"Don't be unless you cross the fellowship, it's her job to deal with our enemies " Phinneas said to her

Kanda chuckled before he tossed the water orb at him.

as the orb hits him in the face, Finn uses a magic bolt to give him the hiccups

Kanda hiccupped and then glared at him. "Did you really (hiccup) need to do that?" he asked him, looking rather annoyed.

"It's for science" Finn chuckled at him "Had to try it on someone"

Kanda kept hiccupping. "You could've tried it (hiccup) on yourself (hiccup) instead of me!" he said and sat down in a chair.

"I didn't want the hiccups" Finn replied smirking
