Together Peacefully

Aiden would hang out with her, just the two of them for some time. Until they did have to move, the pot was ready to be taken out of the oven as the clock rang.

"do we have to movee? I was so good here.." Aiko hugs him, smiling

"Yeah well, we do. We don't want burned food right? Besides, I am kinda hungry..." Aiden says sounding defeated by his own hunger.

Aiko smiles and kisses his chin before running to the kitchen "Last one has to clean the kitchen!!"

Aiden gets up. "Dammit, no fair!" Aiden says as he tries to get off of the couch quickly to get to the kitchen, but he trips on the carpet.

Aiko gigles from the kitchen "Come on! im waiting!"

Aiden gets back up and jogs the rest of the way, he proceeds to take the pot from the oven. The smell of the meat was very good and enticing.

"Damn, smells really good" Aiko says, smiling

"Indeed, we did well. So, how about a taste? Careful it is still hot..." Aiden says as he takes a bowl and fills it with the fresh food, then he offers it to Aiko with a smile.

"Thanks" Aiko smiles, tasting it "Hmm, delicious!! you are a really good cook"

Aiden blushes as she compliments him. "Uh... Thanks... I do this as my job... I cook at a restaurant for a living..." Aiden says, he then proceeds to take his own share.

"Really? That explains the good taste.. Anyway, how is the little guy?" Aiko smiles

"Thomas is at school right now, he has to learn like any other kid after all. He does miss our home though, but he thinks that Matthew and you are cool." Aiden says as he eats.

"It must have been rough for him..All of these changes.." Aiko starts to eat

"Yeah a little, for me too, but I need to be strong for him. Give a good example, things won't stay like this forever though, someday the monsters will stop appearing and we can go back home and live a happy life again. Of course, with the added bonus of new friends." Aiden says and smiles.

"Just friends?" Aiko smiles at him, eating

Aiden smiles back. "...We, as lovers." He adds, he leans towards her and gives her a kiss on the cheek.

Aiko smiles and messes his hair "And..How are you with all the being a demon thing?"

Aiden let's her mess his hair, for now. "I am not still sure about it, I scared even myself when I turned into that... Monster. I have no knowledge of demons, so I don't know about myself entirely. But I don't think anything bad will come from it, I have lived a mostly normal life until discovering this so I don't think it will get in the way of things. I am more worried about those strange creatures that attacked us." Aiden tells her putting more food in his mouth.

"Yeah..They are scary even for me.." Aiko says, thoughtful

"Understandable, never seen anything quite like them. I hope Matthew gets to the bottom of this, of course if he needs it I will help him." Aiden says, it would not be fair letting Matthew do all the work after all.

"of course, and for that we must learn to controll your transformation" Aiko says

Aiden gives her a skeptical look. "Do we need to?" He asks her, he didn't see a reason for it.

"Hey" Aiko caresses his cheek "Its still you, dont worry. And yes, if we need to fight them your demonic form is the best idea"

Aiden was still uncertain. "I'm not sure... But if you insist I can at least try, but let's do it in a controlled environment and maybe ask more information about demons from that fay at the bar? He seemed... Knowledgeable about demons." Aiden says, he didn't want to go into this blind.
