The Legion of Hell

Rook would embrace her as well, and as he did she could feel the bandages under his robes "You look like shit" the wizard teased slightly in a good natured way , his smile matching hers.

"Look whose talking." She retorted , Rook able to see her bandages as well , seems that torso wound wouldn't be healing up for a little while.

Rook would nod and blush slightly as he walked inside. It was no secret that he was not the most suave guy on the planet, and after all that had happened it felt like a lifetime ago he and syndr had been together. The wizard was determined to make things work, but he didn't exactly know what to do now after what had happened. He had told her he loved her and she had kissed him, which had been great, but what did he do now, did he ask her about it; would that just make things weird? were they courting now? she had done more than kiss a lot of guys and she certainly wasn't courting half the camp, would asking about this ruin things somehow, would not asking about it also ruin things? questions spiraled in his head, and he had no idea what the hell he was doing, finally he would ask embarrassed "So uh... what did yesterday... mean?" He hoped she would have an answer, preferably one that involved smacking him around a bit though he knew that was a long shot, and internally chuckled at the thought despite his internal confusion

"You are mine now." She explained bluntly "I've decided on it."

Rook laughed at that a bit at that half incredulous half relieved, he had certainly not expected something so bold as to amount to basically "I own you now" despite being more aggressive than any woman he knew she certainly hadn't said anything like that the last time they had tried courting; though he found the prospect strangely exciting, he seemed hesitant about accepting the statement as he tried to discern if she was kidding or nor "Well that's rather forward." he said with a chuckle, probing for her reaction.

The salamander smirked , charcoal grey skin reflecting the dim lamp light that kept the room from complete darkness "Well it's not like anyone else was taking you , and I didn't want to see you being put to waste , and...admittedly , you saved my life...this is your reward." She explained , smirk widening into a small devious sickle of a grin. " By custom I am yours as well, only fair." She added as something of a disclaimer.

"How generous of you... ah I leave home for a few months and I'm stolen away by a beautiful savage" Rook teased with a grin of his own, though truth be told behind the casual smirk he was both relieved and a bit giddy on the inside; he felt like the luckiest man on the planet

"Oh how dramatic , the noble civilized Albamen stolen and despoiled by a fire breathing barbarian." She replied with an almost flirtatious tone as she moved a bit closer.

"Despoiled you say?" He grinned pressed back against the wall

"Forcefully." Her two cerulean eyes locked intensely on the wizards own as she pressed into him. The energy that ran between the two in that dark room was powerful like the crashing power of a tidal wave. Syndr was like loose sand on the beaches shore , all too willing to be swept away into the crashing waters. Her hands moved first , just like always , one moving around to the back of his head as she began to press in even closer. The sweet intoxicating haze of desire beginning to cloud over her senses as her grin turned almost animal in the euphoria. It had been far too long since they had been together like this.

"Just like I..." Rook talked too much, but when their lips met the talking stopped as she seized him. Rook put up a struggle against her, perhaps for his pride, perhaps for fun, or perhaps to push her further to brutality; he didn't know, all he knew was escape was the last thing from his mind. A small bolt of electricity shot from the wizard's hand that snaked around behind her back, striking at her senses with a fair amount of both pain and pleasure, and briefly numbing her muscles so Rook could overpower her and press her against the wall for just a moment, pulling off her shirt.

A low rumbling purr rumbled from her now bare chest as she acknowledged the challenge with excitement. The lightning was new for sure , looked like he'd been practicing with someone else? The salamander decided she'd simply have to remind him who was in charge when it came to these things. Quickly she was upon him , lips crashing into his again as she grabbed his leg from under him and tackled him onto her cot with force. The rumbling dragon's purr growing louder and louder as her eyes began to glow in the shadows of their room. She straddled him with powerful legs , anticipation rising as she began removing the rest of her garments atop him.

Rook was quite a bit stronger as well, nowhere near as strong as syndr obvious but not such a scrawny wizard after all his training with the army; still the force of being slammed into the cot knocked the wind him, and smothered in the passionate kiss he had no wish to break, he had trouble taking in air to replace it. That was when with a defiant smirk he would suddenly headbutt her, and try to roll on top in the surprise.

She had to admit this new strength of his was a bit of a turn on . And her hands surely did seem to enjoy roaming over the new found muscle of his torso before they were interrupted so rudely. Grinning as he tried to get back on top she allowed it if only for a moment so she could get a word out "I Love You."

James was more startled by that than being slammed into the ground, as he tore off his shirts he had no reply for that except to tease "My what would the other fae say about that" and lower himself down to kiss her after relieving himself of the last of his robes

"I don't care." She replied inbetween kisses "They can say whatever they like." She declared firmly , her voice filled with a level of sincerity he had never heard from her as she held his face in her warm hands.

James Rookwood pulled back for a moment, and smiled, not a smartass or devious grin, but a real earnest smile; he couldn't help it. They had known each other nearly their whole lives, and for most of it oddly enough he had been her protector; from when she was a small lizard and the toughest kid in school tried to step on her, and Rook had stabbed him in the eye with a quill before getting the tar beat out of him while she escaped, to just yesterday. James loved her; he had for a very long time, at any time, in any form he would always love her, and despite all these memories in his head he just grinned and said "I know." he never knew the right thing to say, and he never would, but actions often speak louder

Those were always what had mattered to her , James had never been a smooth talker , he was always a little arrogant , a little condescending..but he was always there for her. He was the only thing that ever had been. He was her lifeline of sorts , he was what held her down and reminded her she was loved , she was the fire that set him free from his restrictions. They tempered each other , they made each other whole in a way though her pride was loth to admit it. But her heart made that easy to ignore , and his smile as sappy and as earnest as it was broke down her resistance. "I will tell them that you are my pet human and I am your pet fae." She grinned letting out something almost resembling a giggle as her lips pressed against his again , nipping playfully at the soft skin.

James's resistance similarly collapse, the thoughts of the struggle and all that kinky stuff drifted from his mind; that was fun and they would have time for that later, but right now with this overwhelming tide of love and emotion he just wanted to make love to her. "As it should be." he would Joke before she nipped him and he rolled over with her, letting her on top.

Her eyes remained locked on his golden orbs as she pushed him down firmly but gently and began to straddle him, all worry and anxiety beginning to slip away as she slowly slid down onto him.

With their stamina this was going to go on for a considerable while, one certainly couldn't envy the person in the office next door to the one syndr had been set up in. Several hours later rook was lying on the bed exhausted and not shure he was going to be able to stand up today; of course it was more than worth it, it was the best sex he'd ever had, and it had been with the woman he loved to boot. Leaning back in bed he would grin up at the cieling

Syndr draped an arm across him as she let out a rather satisfied sigh "You been practicing without me?" She murmured teasingly as she lay her head on his chest.

"Have you?" he asked shooting her a grin as he knew the answer; he put an arm around her and answered. "Well you don't run in the olympic games without going for the occasional jog to prepare..."

"I'm not complaining , you've gotten better." She replied flatly as she played a bit with a stray lock of his hair.

"If I'm being honest I actually haven't." Rook admitted blushing a bit. He wasn't a casual sex guy at all, he just had plenty of time to have ideas, and was more physically fit than he used to be. Still he felt a little embarrassed admitting that she was still the only person he'd slept with while she has been tearing things up all over the place. Not that he begrudged her for that, they had split up, she didn't owe him anything.
