The field trip

The local zoo was not all that big though the creatures would be unbelievable to any human. There was a pheonix, and a couple little frost drakes, and some other such mythical beasts in wooden pins and fenced in areas; all set up a few years ago by Mister henderson the town farmer to help educate the youth. Matsuo was rather withdrawn today on the monthly highschool feildtrips to the zoo, more so than normal, she was sketching something in her journal, but clearly not using the animals as a refference which was a bit odd for her given the new Salamander exhibit.

Arathorn stared at the salamander exhibit, all these creatures locked away in such a place, taken care of and used to educate people... This was more fun than he had anticipated, but how does one make it even more fun he wondered... Having a mild mischievous grin.

Jordan wasn't a huge fan of zoos at all; she felt they were cruel to the creatures locked up. So she just wondered about playing wih a little spider she had found in her hair.

Matsuo not looking where she was going bumped right into jordasn and dropped her notebook, bouncing off like she had hit a brick wall "Sorry!" Matsuo Said quickly scrambling to pick up her notebook

"Hey, no sweat," she said, stooping to pick up the notebook for her.

Arathorn turns his head to look at the source of the commotion, he had his jacket's hood over his head, a long black leather jacket that was... Just some kids making a ruckus, nothing special...

Matsuo snatched it a bit too quickly, but not before Matsuo saw what she had been drawing, which looked like... something she had never seen before, a beast of some sort. Injured and bleeding out

"Freaky drawing," she noted, not terribly surprised by how quickly she snatched it. Art people are weird. "What is it?"

Arathorn wonders if he should pull a prank on these kids, that would be a good show since this was getting boring. He discreetly wounds himself to get some of his blood out and slaps it on the fence, he himself walks away from the scene but makes sure he is at a watching distance. The blood on the fence changes shape and a blood tendril rises from it and taps Matsuo's shoulder to distract the kid.

"I don't know... It's... just a dream I had..." She said distantly as she reached over and pet a frost drake that had come up near the fence, these animals were well fed and sucialized and so rather sweet. Hence the pheonix not flying away

"Cut it out, 'thorn," Jordan said to the guy, shooing away his blood tendril.

Matsuo had a more extreme reaction. She jumped at this again droping her journal

"Woah, calm down," jordan said in mild surprise, once again picking up her book to give it back to her.

Arathorn giggles a little, but sadly Jordan knew it was him. He stepped close while his blood tendril started bothering Matsuo, picking up her stuff and keeping them out of reach. "You are always such losers, but at least you are useful in entertainment..." Arathorn said, he wasn't that likable.

"Why don't you go over there and fornicate with the cockatrice," Jordan replied to him.

Arathorn speaks. "Ha! Jokes on you, I don't even know what 'fornicate' means!" Arathorn said, was he just pretending to be retarded or not was anyone's guess...

Matsuo used this distraction to do something entirely out of character. She kneed him in the groin; hard enough he would be choking on his testicles for the next few weeks.

"Wow..."Jordan had to blink a few times to make sure she was not hallucinating. "That was hot."

Arathorn's eyes widen at the sudden pain, he drops down on the ground paralyzed due to the pain. The blood tendril holding Matsuo's stuff disappears since Arathorn was kinda busy...

The pretty japanesse girl blushed a bit as some nearby students turned and started laughing, local rich boy know it all Duncan Pierce among them; Matsuo quickly caught her things mid air like a damn ninja before walking off to look at another exhibit; scared off by all the attention

Arathorn grunted as he slowly would stood up, this humiliation... How dare thee...? Arathorn drags himself outside to get away from here for now, then to plan his revenge.

Lilac the half-breed demon giggled in the crowd as well, men sure were sensitive...

"Hey, no offence but what the fuck was that?" She asked, chasing after the nerd chick with a grin all over her face.

"He was being an ass" Matsuo said quietly still blushing.

Duncan meanwhile had made the descision too climb into the salamander enclosure to retrieve a scale and was climbing the fence

"It was awesome!"

Lilac noticed what Duncan was doing, climbing into the salamander enclosure? What a silly man, she should probably stop him from the kindness in her heart before that weak man hurts himself. Lilac grew her wings and flew over to him, picking him up and putting back outside the enclosure.
