Training of Toshi

Toshiro arrived in the training yard at about nine am for his swordsmanship lesson in the morning, that was super early for a tentai... He wanted to see this strangely alluring warrior woman again as much as he wanted to learn to use a blade, truth be told. There was something attractive about her commanding pressence... and the way she had dispatched him so easily earlier was... intriguing even if it had been a bit humiliating, it was a srange feeling part of him wanted to experience more of, and part of him wanted to avoid it. Frankly it was confusing

When he arrives he finds the female samurai already training with a tachi , most likely using the slightly unwieldy weapon to help refine her technique with a much easier to use blade like a katana "Good morning Toshiro , I wondered if you'd ever arrive " She comments , a slight hint of aggravation in her tone.

"Have all these people been up all morning?" Toshiro asked as he had noticed people had been well into their daily routine when he woke up "What do you people have against sleep? How did it hurt you? Did sleep murder your parents and now you're out for revenge?" He half joked

"Not all of us are as pampered as someone like you tentai , the world doesn't go easy on the week and lazy "

The tentai yawned "It's been going pretty easy on me do far and I get a full eight hours" he said shooting her a charming grin. So what are we learning today boss?"

"Well first off I'm not your boss, I'm your teacher" She replies as she turns to look him over "You eaten yet?"

"Uh no, no I haven't" Toshiro said, the thought had not yet occured to him

"Go eat dumbass , then come back"

"Alrighty cool" he left and returned ten minutes later

"We'll be training for a few hours , you may want a bit more than that , and bring me bck something too" She orders.

"You sure you're not my boss?" Toshiro jokes and asks "What should I get you?"

"Anything with meat "She replies as she looks him over with the most 'you're not shit' look on her face.

He does not break his charming grin, that is exactly what has intrigued him about her so far. He goes off and return with two bowls one with rixe and chicken, one with noodles and pork

She takes the one with the pork with a nod of thanks and gets eating quietly .

Toshiro had already eaten and thus was not hungry so he decided to practice a bit while she ate

How had he already eaten , since before she asked if he had and he replied no? Did he eat on the way? It didn't really matter to Rin if she was being honest , as long as he didn't collapse onto that shapely rear of his , she probably wouldn't bat an eye.

He had eaten the last time he went off to get food before she sent him off again "So what landed you here?" he wondered trying to make small talk as he practiced, and was apparently her eyecandy

"My sister was forcibly married to that mad warlord , she was soft , frail , sweet....she didn't last very long" She replies , arms crossed as she stands , if he were to look though it would seem she in her nonchalant way is attempting to catch his eye as well. The gi top she's wearing allows for a bit of her bosom to be exposed as she rises and leans a bit on her blade "We're going  to have to work on those knees of yours , you wobble a lot"

And toshiro appreciates this, though he tried to be discrete about it. "My knees?" Toshiro asked, being a guy who snuck around crouching a lot, his knees should be quite sturdy, maybe it was because he had been sneaking around the camp to map the place out in his head and for practice last night

"I suppose I can just show you " She replies as she raises her still sheathed blade and goes into a high stance , waiting for him to assume a fighting position as well.

In a subtle way his spirit animal is aiding him when he sinks into a lower guard stance that feels natural, and is slightly unorthodox but tactically sound for one swift on their feet

She notes this , her spirit the leopard guiding her to strike hard and fast from above "Good , follow those instincts , that is how you will learn to grasp the basics , we can begin precise instruction on technique later" She notes aloud with an approving nod , then suddenly she springs forward with a downward strike to his head.

He was surprisinfly agile and quick for a tentai, he dived under her when she sprang at him intending to roll under her and take a swipe at her legs. The rat spirit was crafry and lived by skillfully evading such felines

"Hmmn , clever boy" She purrs , so quiet he obviously wasn't supposed to here it as she takes a slash at the back of his head.

Toshiro was barely able to move his head out of the way of this but it fucked up his roll and he ended up sprawled all over the ground, he was still new at this... her purr sent small shivers down his spine
